Lee Roy LaFleur, known to many as "the Clock Doc," left this earth to be with his Heavenly Father on June 3, 2015. Loved by many, Lee was born on February 24, 1935, in Durald, LA, to Willis and Armed LaFleur. After graduating from Basile High School, he traveled across the country pursuing various job opportunities. Later, he found his home in Draper, VA, where he owned the Draper Mercantile, a furniture store and clock repair shop. He was an avid outdoorsman, proud volunteer fireman, and an impressive grill master. Lee was preceded in death by sister, Eve (Adam) Johnson, and his brothers, Ferdinand; Edward (Rosabelle); Allen (Leola); Willard (Doris); and Wilfred. He is survived by his sister, Lucy (John) LeJeune; sister-in-law, Rose LaFleur; daughter, Kathy Holmberg; sons, Bernard, Darrell, and Timothy (Jeanne); six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday June 9, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be at 6:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Tony Bourque officiating. Cremation will follow services.
