Lela Marlyne Granger

Lela Marlyne Granger, 51, of Sulphur passed away at 3:37 PM on Friday, June 23, 2017 in a Sulphur hospital.

Mrs. Granger was born on December 28, 1965 in Savanna, IL.  She was a graduate of Vinton High School and lived in the Westlake and Sulphur areas most of her life.

Her love for others was unwavering and she was always willing to lend a helping hand.  Mrs. Granger was affectionately known as “Nanny” to numerous children.  She enjoyed craftwork in her spare time.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 32 years, Marcus Granger; a daughter, Bethany Murphy (Ricky); a son, Jacob LaFleur all of Sulphur; a sister, Rae Barnes of Savanna, IL; as well as extended relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Lavergne Thulion and five siblings.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.  Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for outstanding expenses.
