Leland "Lee" James Broussard

Iowa – Leland “Lee” James Broussard, born September 5, 1948, son of Rolland “Black Top” and Wilda Leger Broussard, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the age of 69.
Lee was a graduate of Iowa High School and served in the U. S. Airforce. In his earlier years, he was a rodeo clown. Lee retired as a foreman in the oilfield. He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. In his spare time, Lee loved camping, and being with people. He never met a stranger and was an excellent caregiver.
Lee is survived by his wife, Linda Broussard; mother, Wilda Leger Broussard; children, Shawn Broussard of Lindsay, OK, Shawnda Callahan (Dusty) of Carter, OK, Jauwan Moore of Elk City, OK, siblings, Jerry Broussard (Phyllis), Cindy Gordon (Rickey); grandchildren, Rylee & Xander Moore, Karlee, Kassidy & Ryder Callahan, Shelby Snow (Jaime); great-grandchildren, Maizlinn & Nolan Snow. He is preceded in death by his father, Rolland “Black Top” Broussard.
As per Lee’s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
