Leslie Jo Hartwell

Leslie Jo Hartwell, born in Jennings on November 28, 1959, daughter of the late Harold and Sylvia (Gary) Hartwell, passed away in a DeRidder hospital on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the age of 63.
Leslie worked for the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury for 19 years, and the Lake Charles Chamber of Commerce for 6 years. She was of the catholic faith and enjoyed container gardening, and crafts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and nephew, Chase Edwards.
Survivors are her siblings, Jennifer Sibille (Kevin); Dennis Hartwell (Melody), and Scotty Hartell (Lauren). She was Nanny Jo to Adam, Maureen, Seth, Gretchen, Lyndon, Christin, Bailey, Courtland, and Kenadi.
A Mass of Christian burial will be in St. John Vianney of Bell City on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11 a.m. Rev. Paul D’sa, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Lorrain DeRouen Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins in the church at 9 a.m. Pallbearers honored to serve are Courtland Hartwell, Clayton Cormier, Ricky Fontenot, Adam Sibille, Lyndon Hartwell, and Eli Cormier.
