Lewis Patrick "Pat" Marshall

Iowa – Lewis “Pat” Patrick Marshall (82) of Iowa, Louisiana, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and loving brother, passed peacefully on March 16, 2023 with his family by his side.

Pat was born and raised in Springhill, Louisiana where he graduated and met his loving wife, Lucille of 62 years and they began their family there. He later moved his family to South Louisiana to pursue his career in the oilfield with Shell Oil Co. Pat later retired at age 58 as maintenance supervisor for Amerada Hess. He was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.

Pat enjoyed retirement and loved spending his days outside working on his property with Lucille. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish and loved more than anything to share the outdoors with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Val Marshall (Pop) and Lorraine Marshall (Nini).

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lucille Marshall; children, Val Marshall (Lisa), Kelly Herpin (Reggie), Greg Marshall (Donna), his three loving sisters, Val Rae Culp, Debbie Baronet (Jay), Jan Stewart (Bruce); grandchildren, Melissa Carriere (Gary), Claire Quebodeaux (Dustan), Justin Herpin, Adam Herpin (Lauryn), Joseph Marshall (Barbi), Abby Benny (Derek), Lily Brown (Revel), Elizabeth Marshall, Adelyn Precht (William), Ruth Marshall, Sarah Marshall, Emma Marshall; great grandchildren, Jhett and Blaise Carriere, Aria and Ryker Quebodeaux, Wyatt and Ryder Marshall, Addison and Titus Benny, Revel (Lil Rev) Brown; many loving nieces, nephews, and beloved pets, Lady & Hollywood.

Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, Sunday, March 19, 2023, at 2 p.m., with his son, Greg Marshall, officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin in the funeral home on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.
