Liam Mount Kamla, precious infant son, of Ali and Ben Kamla was born December 8, 2025 and was received into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday March 14, 2026.
Liam’s name means ‘strong-willed warrior,’ and that he truly was. He had the sweetest spirit, a calm and content personality, and showed the strength of a true little fighter.
In his time on earth, Liam’s life gave and received immeasurable love. He was a blessing to this world, deeply loved and cherished by all who knew him. He forever changed their lives, and their hearts will always hold love for him.
He leaves his mother, Ali Thibodeaux Kamla and father, Benjamin Kyle Kamla of Lake Charles; maternal grandmother, John and Leigh Ann Thibodeaux; paternal grandmother, Roger and Jean Kamla; aunt, Ashleigh Thibodeaux; aunt and godmother, Kate Kingrey and husband Scott; uncle, Blake Thibodeaux; godfather, Crawford Courville and cousin, Jay Kingrey.
His funeral services will be at 2:30 PM Friday, March 20, 2026 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Father Keith Pellerin and Reverend Weldon Barras will officiate. Interment services will follow at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Friday will be from 12:00 PM until the beginning of the Rosary service at 2:00 PM.
