Iowa – Lila Irene Jeannice, born September 26, 1934 in Carlinville, IL, daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Allen passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at the age of 84.
Lila enjoyed puzzles, watching old movies and loved spending time with her family.
Lila is survived by her children, Chuck VanHuss (Terri); Joey Jeannice (Ellen); Mark Jeannice; Jeff Jeannice (Darlene); Sheree Huston; Linda Bass (Randy); Sarah Fontenot (Ron); Jerri VanHuss and Melody Jeannice; siblings, Bill Allen and Janet Howard; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph I. Jeannice; first husband, Charles Edward; her parents; daughter, Sandra Falgoust; Victoria Lynn VanHuss.
Celebration of life will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 10 a.m. Brother Alan Weishampel will officiate. Gathering of family and friends will begin from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Cremation is under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
