Lillian Fontenot Clark, 94, of Dequincy died at 1:45 AM on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at The Care Center of Dequincy.
Mrs. Clark was born in Lafayette, LA on December 14, 1918 and lived many years in the Lake Charles/Iowa area before moving to Dequincy 2 1/2 years ago. She was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Clark enjoyed crocheting.
Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Linda Moore and husband, Glyn of Cutoff, LA, Vickie Hebert and husband, Roger of Iowa, and Betty Doyle of Iowa; four sons, Bobbie Fontenot and wife, Linda of Lake Charles, Joel Fontenot and wife, Dorothy of Topsy, Ronnie Fontenot and wife, Joy of Dequincy, and Brian Fontenot and wife, Tina of Iowa; twenty grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Niesley Fontenot; nine siblings; and her parents, William and Aldophina Guidry.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 5:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until the start of the services.
