Lillian Ruth Moore

Lillian Ruth Moore, 61, of Westlake, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023 in Lake Charles at a local hospice facility.  Lillian was born in Abeline, TX on November 11, 1961. A longtime resident of the Southwest Louisiana area, Lillian worked as a transporter with a local railroad company.

Lillian loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was a great jokester and was always telling jokes. She was avid animal lover.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter: Melissa Tootle, sisters; Ramona Primeaux, Kathleen Tootle and Jacqueline Lynn Simien.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home Moss Bluff, 2171 US-171, Lake Charles, LA. 70611.  A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.  Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
