Lina Steiner

Lina Duhon Steiner, 95, of Moss Bluff passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at a local care facility.  Mrs. Steiner was born September 18, 1924 in Castille, La and was one of 8 children born to Ulysse Miller and Merida Cormier Miller.

Mrs. Steiner liked writing poetry and sang many years in the choir at St. Theodore Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Michael Duhon and wife Sylvia of Moss Bluff, La; daughter, Donna Cryer and husband Johnny of Lake Charles, La; grandchildren, Ashlyn Miser; Marissa Miser and Casey Henderson and wife Hazel. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband of 31 years and father of her children, Willie Duhon, second husband of 10 years, Edward Steiner; and 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

A private graveside service will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in Old Richie Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. A private family visitation will be on Wednesday at funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in her name.
