Linda Faye Benoit Gary

Iowa–Funeral services celebrating the life of Linda Faye Gary, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Hoye Folks officiating. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home at a later date. Visitation is Saturday in the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m.
Left to cherish her memory include her husband of nearly 56 years, Nelson Gary of Iowa; son, Robert Lee Gary (Rhonda) of Iowa; daughters, Roxanne Bagwell (John) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Renee Marshall (James) of Coldspring, Texas, Djuna Marie Meyer (Charles, Jr.) of Iowa, Trina Gary of Iowa and Belinda Fuselier of Iowa; siblings, Paul Benoit (Jo Ann) of Sulphur, Norris Benoit (Molly) of Pearland, Texas, Judy Wilkinson of Grand Lake, LA, Freda Cunningham of Call, Texas, Stella Broussard of Iowa and Jackie Holland (Larry) of Iowa; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Benoit; 2 sisters, Patsy Timmons and Belinda Benoit and granddaughter, Constance Gary.
Linda was born in Welsh on November 20, 1942 to the late Guy and Edna Benoit and was a member of Restoration and Faith Tabernacle in Jennings. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, animals and being with her family.
