Linda Beth Cook Brady

Linda Cook Brady, 74 of Moss Bluff passed away Sunday June 11, 2017 at a local hospital following an extended illness.

Linda was a native of Merkel, Texas and longtime resident of Moss Bluff. She was of the Baptist faith and retired as a secretary from Northrop-Grumman.

Preceding Linda in death are her parents, John Warner, Sr. and Geneva Cook; brother John Warner, Jr.; husband of 43 years William “Bill” Robert Brady; and son John Armstrong.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Armstrong Tete (Greg) and Brandy Brady Mier (Richard), both of Moss Bluff; son Thomas L. Armstrong, Lakeview, AR; grandchildren Christopher Tete, Kira Tete, Andrea Aker (Ernest), Rita Armstrong, Heather Armstrong, David Armstrong, Jeremy Armstrong (Jessica), Madie Mier, Timmy Mier, and Ben Mier; eight great grandchildren; brother Tracy Cook (Meredith), Philadelphia, PA; sisters Sharon “Dianne” Ezell (Brian) of Lake Charles, Peggy Waring (Richard), Euless, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be on Thursday June 15, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday June 16 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday June 16 at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Weldon Barres officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
