Linda Sue Bishop Naegele

LeBleu Settlement – Linda Sue (Bishop) Naegele, born in Kirbyville, Texas, daughter of the late Cecil Bishop and Yvonne (Rogers) Bishop, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, after a brave battle with cancer. She was 65.

Linda was working in Lake Charles as a waitress when she met and married James “Jimbo” Naegele. They had a blessed and wonderful marriage for 44 years.

Linda never met a stranger. Her bright and beautiful smile would win you over. She had many ailments in her life and fought them one by one. But she could not overcome the last one of cancer.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, James “Jimbo” Naegele, one son, James “T-Jim” Naegele (Ashley); 2 beautiful grandboys, Axel and Rowen; 3 sisters, Karen Brown, Nancy Webb, and Mary Maple; 2 brothers, Richard and Rayford Bishop; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation begins Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of services.
