Welsh – Linda Gail Coffman Derouen, born September 27, 1954 in Jennings, daughter of the late Norman and Betty Johnston Coffman, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, at the age of 64.
Linda was a graduate of Welsh High School, class of 1973. She retired from Truck & Trailer Equipment Co., and was a member of Roanoke Church of the Brethren.
Linda is survived by her children, Dionne Butler (Lloyd, Jr.); Derrell Derouen, Jr. (Nikki Cary); both of Welsh; William “Joey” Derouen; of Baton Rouge; sisters, Debra Blanchard (Tony); Deloris Comeaux (Perry); all of Roanoke; 9 grandchildren, Hallie E. Derouen; Raven N. Derouen, Derrell R. Derouen, III; Deontre “DJ” Derouen; Bryston J. Schexnider; Abriana S. Patrick; Devanta “TA” Castille; William Derouen, Jr.; Nekko J. Derouen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Derrell Derouen, Sr.; sister; Mary Daley; parents.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
Memorial services will be in Roanoke Church of the Brethren, 205 W. 1st. Street, Roanoke, LA 70581, Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Kristie Prejean officiating.
