Linda Lavell Trahan Fontenot, born in Floyd, Arkansas on October 27, 1944, passed away in her daughters residence on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 78.
She leaves behind 2 daughters, Tracy R. Vincent, and Tonya Fontenot (Wayne) of Iowa; 1 sister, Sue Fontenot of Moss Bluff; 3 grandchildren, Robert Fontenot (Casey), Christine Hendricks (Corey) all of Moss Bluff and Vic Trahan (Chrissy) of Ragley; and many great-grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Bobbie Ray Fontenot; brothers, Wayne Benton, Spud Benton, Elvis Benton, and Pete Benton; mother and father, Gussie and CC Benton.
As per her request, cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial of her cremains will be in Floyd, Arkansas at a later date.
