Linda Guidry Gann

Linda Guidry Gann, 71, died at 10:52 pm on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in a local hospital surrounded by her family.

A life-long resident of Lake Charles, Mrs. Gann was born on October 3, 1945 to Simon and Laurence Guidry. Many remember Mrs. Gann as the cashier at the Lyric Theater where she worked for eleven years and ten years at Park n Shop.  Mrs. Gann retired after seventeen years as a Cashier and Clerk from Entex.

Linda loved good food, socializing and bowling. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room and loved people. Linda took her responsibility as an aunt and Godmother to the highest levels.  She never missed a birthday or an opportunity to love on her nieces and nephews. 

She is survived by one sister, Shirley Guidry Shelton and one brother, Simon “Butch” Guidry and wife Colleen Cline Guidry, all of Lake Charles. Additional survivors include a host of nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Gann is preceded in death by her husband of twelve years, Lester Ray Gann, her parents, one sister, Gloria Guidry Martin, and one nephew, Richard Allen Martin.
