Linda Faye Lognion

March 3, 1945 — December 26, 2025

Iowa

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Faye Lognion, who departed this life peacefully at her home on December 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 3, 1945, in Welsh, Louisiana, Linda was a cherished member of her community and lived a life filled with love, dedication, and joy.

Linda dedicated over 20 years of her life as a bus aide for the Calcasieu Parish School Board, where she touched the hearts of countless children and families. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and the gentle care she offered to all those who traveled with her. Her passion extended beyond her work; she was an avid seamstress, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her creativity and love for her family.

As a devoted mother, Linda took great joy in attending all her children's sporting events, cheering them on with the enthusiasm that only a mother can provide. Her love for her family extended to her grandchildren, who were the lights of her life. Linda was known to her family as a constant source of support and encouragement, and her legacy of love will forever remain in their hearts.

Linda was an active member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, where her faith brought her comfort and community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her son, Bryan Lognion and his wife, Renee; her daughter, Stephanie Thibeaux and her husband, Chad; her brother, Tony Stroder; her sisters, Thelma Cormier (Gabe) and Delores Ardoin; and her grandchildren, Nicole Romero (Wade), Morgan Gill (Cade), Shelby LeJeune (Zack), and Mason Lognion (Brandi).

A funeral service to honor Linda's life will be held on December 31, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa, beginning at 2:00 PM. A Rosary will take place prior to the service at 1:30 PM, and a public viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM on the same day. Linda will be laid to rest following the service.

In this time of profound sorrow, let us remember Linda for her unwavering love, her generous spirit, and the countless ways she enriched our lives. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ansel and Amy Leger Stroder.
