Linda Louise Thibodeaux

Linda Louise Thibodeaux, 67, of Lake Charles died on Monday, April 1, 2013 in a local hospital.

Ms. Thibodeaux was born on February 16, 1946 in Deridder and lived all of her life in Lake Charles. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School. Later in life she continued her education at McNeese State University graduating with a degree in early childhood education. Ms. Thibodeaux retired from the Women's Shelter.

She adored her grandchildren and will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Vickie Simpson and husband Chuck of Grand Lake; four siblings, William McDonald of Central, Dianna Quibodeaux of Sweetlake, and Janice Hinton and Anita Platt both of Lake Charles; her mother, Yvonne McDonald of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, Britney, Edward Corey, and Brett Pickett of Grand Lake; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Thibodeaux; her father, John L. McDonald, and a brother, Johnny McDonald.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Rick Ellis will officiate. Burial will follow in Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin. Visitation will begin on Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
