LeBleu Settlement – Linda Faye Manuel, born April 2, 1959, daughter of the late Jerome and Emma (Fontenot) Manuel, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the age of 62.
Linda was a graduate of Katy High School and worked as a CNA for many years. She was a member of Open Gate Cowboy Church. Linda enjoyed crocheting, making plastic canvases, cooking, and collecting dolphins and indians.
Linda is survived by her brother, Jerry Manuel (Rachel); sisters, Lena Clark and Kathleen Manuel; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; loving dog Ray. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronald Bertrand.
Funeral services are Monday, October 4, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, Bro. Mark Stagg, officiant. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
