Hayes – Linda Faye (Patton) Hoffpauir, born in Monroe on February 4, 1955, daughter of the late Warner Leon and Minnie Bea (Welch) Patton, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at the age of 66.
Linda was a graduate of Linville High School. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Linda enjoyed sewing, gardening, and traveling. Her loving spirit will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Warner “Sonny” Patton, Jr.
Linda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ray Allen Hoffpauir; children, Shannon Hoffpauir (Kristi); Robert Chaisson; Paige Myers (Tony); Heather H. Hebert (Spencer); brothers, Buddy Patton; William Patton; Billy Patton; Ronnie Patton; Jerry Patton; sister, Jeanette Nale; grandchildren, Linzy Broussard (Jordan); Bryce Myers; Tayler Myers; Wyatt Myers; Conner Myers; Harlie Hebert; Sterling Hebert; Haidyn Breshears; Johb Hoffpauir; Bradley Chaisson and Blake Chaisson; great-grandchildren, Layne; Casen; Reese; Lucas; Paisyn; Tucker; Lennox; Sawyer and beloved dog, Sammy.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. John Vianney in Bell City on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. Rev. John Payne, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Wednesday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday from 9 a.m. until leaving for the church at 10:30 a.m.
Facial coverings are encouraged, and no food is requested.
