Linda Quebodeaux

August 23, 1941 — March 13, 2026

Linda Gail Quebodeaux, 84, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. She was born on August 23, 1941, and lived a long and meaningful life filled with family, friendship, and the hobbies she loved most.

Linda was known for her exceptional cooking and took great joy in preparing meals for those she loved. She was also a phenomenal bowler and proudly participated in a bowling league for more than 50 years, forming many friendships along the way.

Creative, Linda loved sewing and, in her younger years, frequently made clothes for her children by hand. She was also an avid reader who especially enjoyed novels by Tom Clancy and John Grisham. Nightly, you could often find her with a good book in hand.

A devoted sports fan, Linda rarely missed watching her beloved New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Braves. Game days were even more special when she and her brother would talk on the phone while watching their team.

Above all, Linda cherished her family. She loved them deeply and took great pride in being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she adored every moment spent with them.

Linda is survived by her children, Stephanie Pinder; Kevin Quebodeaux (Trecia); and Lenae Sigmund; her seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ervin Quebodeaux, and her brothers, Norman Roy and Johnny St. Ores.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with a graveside service to follow at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the start of the service.
