Linda Jean Walker Duplantis

Linda Duplantis, born in Welsh May 10, 1945, daughter of the late Leonard and Dorothy Jean Ferguson Walker, passed away in her residence, Friday, July 6, 2018, with her family by her side, at the age of 73.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Eddie Duplantis; children, Tammy Wolfe Trahan (Carol) of Scott, LA, Quint Hebert (Angel) of Fulshear, Texas; siblings, Norma Gail Desormeaux (Ronnie) of Broussard, Janet Carroll (Barry) of Carencro; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Clarence “Johnny” Wolfe, IV and brother, Darryl Wayne Walker.
Linda was a resident of Lake Charles for 29 years and retired from Chennault Apartments. She loved watching her “Ghost” shows, researching genealogy and especially loved her dogs, Ming, Tiff and Chizzy. She loved visiting with people but her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered well and sorely missed.
Visitation is Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., with a rosary at 1:45 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Father Roland Vaughn will officiate. Cremation is under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
