Lisa Ann Domingue

Lisa Ann Domingue, 56 of Sulphur, La passed away on September 10, 2021, in a local hospital.

Lisa was born on November 24, 1964, to Odis and June Fontenot.  She was a graduate of Sulphur Class of 1982, received her bachelor’s degree from McNeese.  She worked at Stine Lumber Company in Sulphur and DeRidder where she was the Office Manager.  She became a stay-at-home Mom for a while and returned to work teaching business classes at Delta Technical College.  In 2012, she decided being a stay-at-home Mom and wife was most rewarding for her and her family.   Lisa was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles, adult coloring, loved attending concerts, loved music, movies and especially “I Love Lucy” shows.  Lisa had an infectious laugh, and a dry sense of humor.  She was an encyclopedia of music knowledge and loved to “Google” information.  Lisa was a loving wife to her husband and nurturing mother to her children. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 30 years, Derrek Domingue; her children, Daniel Crane of New Orleans; Darby Domingue of Carlyss and fiancé, Ronald Doyle; and Hayley Domingue of Carlyss.  Siblings, Carol Thompson, (Michael) of Springdale, Ar.; Joseph Craig Fontenot (Dianne) of Edgerly; and Bryan Fontenot (Pauline) of Carlyss; and her father-in-law, U.J. Domingue of Carlyss; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Odis and June Fontenot; mother-in-law, Kay Domingue.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Lisa’s life will be held 4-8 PM, Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Johnson & Robison Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
