Lisa Solari Baggett, age 57, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 in a local hospital. She was born on October 14, 1968 to James P. Solari, Sr. and Phyllis Crawford Solari in Lake Charles, LA. She graduated from St. Louis Catholic High School where she played tennis.

Following high school, Lisa attended McNeese State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree to later work as a teacher in the public school system. She enjoyed her years teaching and was passionate about her students. Lisa was also a member of the Lake Charles Racquet Club where she enjoyed playing tennis and made strong friendships throughout the years.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Phyllis Crawford Solari; her sister, Jane Lanza (Danny); her brother, James Patrick “Rick” Solari, Jr. (Jennifer); her son, John Michael Baggett (Bedrah); her daughter, Juliann Baggett Nay (Alex); and her son, James Charles Baggett; three grandchildren, Marlee, Adilynn, and Baby Nay on the way; and her three nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Patrick Solari Sr.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
