Lisa Miller Leger

Lisa Marie Miller Leger, 64, of Ragley, LA passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 in the comfort of her home.

Mrs. Leger was born and raised in Lake Charles, LA and lived most of her life in Ragley. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School. She married her sweetheart and soon after started their little family. She followed her husband’s Naval career and later began her own. She worked in the clerical field and earned the position of Office Manager for Safeguard Business Systems where she worked thirty-five years. Mrs. Leger looked forward to getting together with friends and family for cookouts, overnight pajama parties for food, fun and fellowship and always loved joy rides out. She also enjoyed going out to dinner with friends and was looking forward to dinner and an upcoming comedy show. She was a Christian of Baptist faith. Mrs. Leger will be most remembered for her carefree, joyful spirit and her love for laughter.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Heather Nicole Leger and husband Jonathan Rios of Bayshore, NY and Crystal Leger Savant and husband Michael Darrin Savant of Willis, TX; four grandchildren, Keagan Nikolai Rios of Bayshore, TX, Lexie Marie Savant, Brooke Nicole Savant and Michael David Savant, all of Willis, TX; one brother, Lenus Miller, III and his wife Theresa of Orange Beach, AL; one sister, Sheila Smith and her husband Kenneth of Owasso, OK; many nieces and nephews; lifelong friend and caretaker who treated her as his own mother, Leon “Junior” Brydels of Moss Bluff and sister-in-law, dear friend and caretaker, Cheryl Freienmuth of Willis, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, Michael James Leger; parents, Lenus Miller, Jr. and Peggy Walton Miller and a sister, Lane Miller Granger.

Her Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Keith Cating will officiate. Visitation Tuesday will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
