Lloyd Ray Bourgeois

Lloyd Ray Bourgeois, 80, passed away at his residence on October 28, 2018.

He was born on December 10, 1937 in Breaux Bridge, LA to Louis and Lorine Hollier Bourgeois. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his love for LSU football, the Jennings Bulldogs, and net casting.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 32 years, Laura Aucoin Bourgeois; sons, William Keith Bourgeois, Michael Brent Bourgeois, Timothy Wayne Bourgeois; stepdaughter, Micki Ann Voss (John Douglas Voss); and stepsons, Edward Arlen Theall (Mary Theall) and John Gregory Theall; as well as, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Samuel J. Theall; and sister, Rena Laurant Bourgeois.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 6 PM on Friday, November 2, 2018. The Reverend Gregory Bath will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5 PM until the start of the service.
