Lois Lorene Joseph 61, of Iowa La. passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2014, surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home. After countless years battling with Dementia/Alzheimer’s she is now with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Her special joy was sharing her faith with many. She touched countless lives by her faith in God, her caring and compassionate nature and her love of life. Lois was a spiritual mother to many and her positive uplifting spirit will be missed.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, sons, Rev. Carl Joseph and wife Jenee, Nolton Joseph and wife Janice, Gerald “Pop” Joseph Jr.,DeRon “Ron” Joseph & Darion Joseph all of Iowa, La. Daughters, Lashaun Edwards husband Raymond, Odelia “Joy” Joseph all of Iowa; sisters, Delphine Dailey (Isam) of Iowa, Odelia Webb (Kenneth) of Olympia, Washinton, and Rebecca Bennett (Marvin) of Lake Charles, La.
She loved her family more than anything, but she absolutely loved her grandchildren even more.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gerald Wayne Joseph Sr. and her parents Alberta and Nolton Landry, father John Adam Jackson Sr., brother John “Sonny” Adams Jackson II, sister Josie Mae Hill and grandson Joe’l Mouton, Jr.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 20, 2014, 11 a.m. at Refuge Temple Ministries with Reverend Carl Joseph officiating. Visitation is at 9 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Combre Cemetery in Lake Charles, La. under the direction of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home.
