Lori Lynn Meyers Aucoin

Lori Lynn Meyers Aucoin, born in Eunice on April 1, 1970, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023, at the age of fifty-three.
Lori graduated from Sulphur High School class of 1988, while at Sulphur High she was homecoming queen and a member of the SHS Twisters dance team. She was in many pageants with her highest honor being Cal-Cam fair queen. She attended McNeese State University and was a member of Hayes Baptist Church. She was employed with Anchors of Hope as a caregiver. Lori enjoyed painting, fishing, butterfly watching, and spending time with family. She also enjoyed trips with her family and friends and attending her sons many sporting activities.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Cathy Meyers.
She is survived by her son, Matthew Aucoin (Alexis), father, Theodore Meyers, sister, Melissa Sonnier (Thomas); father of her son, Dana Aucoin; niece, Amanda Thorne-Willis (Robert); Godchildren, Greyson Mott and Mattie Sonnier.
A gathering of friends and family will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 4:30 p.m. until the Celebration of Life at 6 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
