Louanna Guillory Thibodeaux

Louanna Guillory Thibodeaux, born in Ville Platte on September 2, 1936, daughter of the late Joseph Odrie and Eulalie (Fontenot) Guillory, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at the age of 85.
Louanna was a graduate of Ville Platte High School. She worked for Standard’s Young Fashion and enjoyed sewing, tending to her garden. She was an excellent cook, and loved playing bingo at the Sr. Center in Moss Bluff.
She is preceded in death by her spouse, Curtis Preston Thibodeaux; parents; brother, J. N. Guillory.
Louanna is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Thibodeaux Stelly, Brenda Thibodeaux Petry (Mark), Sandra Kay Thibodeaux Bradley; sister, Kathleen Bolfa; grandchildren, Matt Bradley, Amber Walden (Dayton); Ashley Petry (Brandon); great-grandchildren, Auron Jerome Bradley, Ava Marie Bradley, Baylee Walden, and Corvin Walden; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2 p.m. in Turkey Creek Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Turkey Creek Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. and will continue in Turkey Creek Church of Christ Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tim Richard, Craig Thibodeaux, Auron Bradley, Jason Fourroux, Mark Petry, and Dayton Walden.
