Lovina Kay Breaux

Lake Charles ~ Lovina Breaux, 55, passed away on March 14, 2017 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.
Lovina was born in Lake Charles on December 9, 1961 to the late Leon J. and Nell Jean (Comeaux) Reed, Sr. She enjoyed spending time with people and had a smile for everyone.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Breaux; children, Preston James Gary, Jr. and wife Jessica Stelly, Crystal Dirk and husband Fred Dirk, Jr.; father of her children, Preston Gary, Sr. (P.J.); brother, Leon Reed, Jr.; sister, Thelma Lynn Reed; grandchildren, Emily, Brooklyn, Tre & Cameron. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Nell Jean Reed, Sr.
A Memorial mass will be held A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1 p.m. in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Lacassine with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Inurnment will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. A gathering of family & friends begins Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with a eulogy at 10 a.m. and rosary and divine mercy chaplet at 11 a.m.
