Iowa – Lucy Ellen Benoit, 66, passed away in her residence on Saturday, January 14, 2017.
Lucy was born on October 6, 1950 in Pleasanton, Kansas to the late Thomas and Ruth Rees Kramer. She was a graduate of Iowa High and attended Sowela Technical College. In her spare time, Lucy enjoyed reading and crocheting. Also, she loved all of her cats and dogs
Survivors include her children, Kenneth Benoit and Gena May; siblings, David Kramer (Roxanne), Ronnie Kramer, Thomas Kramer (Suzy), Mary Ardoin (Mike), Mamie Arsement (Ronald) and Tammie Bernard (Joe); 2 grandchildren, Raymond and Ashley May. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Benoit; brother, Tony Kramer and her parents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery in Lacassine. Visitation begins Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
