Mable "Cathy" Cantrelle Labiche

Iowa – Cathy LaBiche, 61, passed away in the comfort of her home Thursday, October 26, 2017.
Cathy was born in New Orleans on December 28. 1955 to Adam Joseph Cantrelle, Sr. and Gladys Naquin Guidry. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, tending to her flowers and watching her humming birds.
She is survived by her mother, Gladys Guidry and step father Alvin Guidry; brothers, Adam Cantrelle, Jr, Tate Cantrelle; sisters, Colinda Broussard and husband Michael, Joylene Mobley and husband Edwin; maternal grandmother, Leoncia Naquin; companion, Daryl Watson; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friend and care taker, Angela Frederick; her beloved dogs, Bebee and Serena. She is preceded in death by her husband Guy LaBiche and her father Adam Joseph Cantrelle, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Placide Forest Naquin.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a rosary at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
