Mack David Hancock

Mack David Hancock, 40 of Lafayette, LA passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 in his residence. Mack David was born on October 10, 1978 in Baton Rouge, LA to Ray and Trudy Bertrand Hancock.

Mack David grew up in Westlake, LA and he was a “Jack of all Trades”. For the last ten years, he worked as a form carpenter specializing in concrete work. He was a fun-loving, hard-working individual.

Mack David is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Everette and Doris Hancock and Maternal Grandfather, William Shirley Bertrand.

Mack David is survived by his parents, his sisters Candace (David) Louviere and Rachel (David) Rose along with his maternal grandmother, Gloria Nell Bertrand. He also leaves three nieces, Cassia and Hallie Rose and Campbell Louviere along with one nephew, Gabe Rose. He also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mack David will truly be missed by his many friends who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5-8PM. Visitation will continue at the funeral home from 8-10AM on Thursday, November 29, 2018, with a funeral service at 10AM, officiated by Dr. David Rose. Burial will follow at the DeQuincy Masonic Cemetery.
