Madge Hessifer

Madge Hessifer, 68, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones.  Madge was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved to follow her grandkids around in their endeavors. Madge worked as a bookkeeper for many years until her retirement. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Edward; her children, Trisha Guidry and husband, Joe, Chad Hessifer, and Liz Vizier and husband, Robbie; her grandchildren, Jarett, Alysa, Slone, Kylie, Kelsie, Saige, Kaleb, Dawsyn, and Laken; four great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way; two brothers, Ernie Richard and Harry Richard; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Madge was preceded in death by her parents, Alduce and Rose Richard; two sisters, Mildred Perry and Ethlyn Abshire; and two brothers, Curtis Richard and Terry Richard. 

Services for Madge will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 2 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur.  Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South.  The family will receive friends on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 4-9 pm with a rosary at 7 pm and will resume on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of service.
