LeBleu Settlement – Malcolm D. Richard, born September 30, 1951 in Church Point to the late Isabelle and Wilman J. Richard, passed away in his residence Saturday, March 03, 2018, at the age of 66.
Malcolm graduate from LaGrange High School in 1971 and retired from Cajun Industries. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding, being with family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Sonya Cradeur Richard; daughters, Carrie Richard of Houston TX, Mandee Richard (Frank Smith) of Houston, TX, Aimee Richard (Danni) of Houston, TX, Jessica Hardwick (Chris) of Vallejo, CA and Beth Grupp (Mike) of Sulphur, LA; step-sons, Steven Devall of Westlake and Bryant LaBiche (Brytni) of LeBleu Settlement; brothers, Terry Richard, Bryan Richard and fiancé, Sallie, both of Lake Charles; 16 grandchildren, Baleigh, Layne, Ryleigh, Julia, Kyle, Laken, Hallie, Cheyenne, Shylo, Daxson, Beverly, Blaklee, Cooper, Isabelle, Eli and Ethan; his sidekicks, Roxie, Rufus, Sugar, Kelly and Dilan. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation begins Monday, March 5, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. and the service to begin at 6 p.m. with Father Bennie Wego officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
