Margaret Elizabeth Whitson

Margaret Whitson, 92, Lake Charles, passed away peacefully Tuesday August 12, 2014 in the comfort of her home. Mrs. Whitson was a resident of Emeritus of Lake Charles for the past 4 years. She was a native Texan and a long-time resident of Tyler, Texas. She is survived by her son, Charles Whitson and wife Shelia, Lake Charles and daughter, Margaret Rollins and husband Steve of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral Services will be at the Chapel of Burks, Walker & Tippit Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2014. Burial will follow at Cathedral in the Pines Memorial Gardens in Tyler.
