Maria Guadalupe Leith

Maria Guadalupe Leith, 87, passed away on November 21, 2017 in the comfort of her own home.

Mrs. Leith was born in Mexico in 1929, moved to the United States in 1963 and later became a proud citizen of the USA. She enjoyed nature, reading, singing, and poetry. She was a dedicated mother and loved to cook. Her whole life was her beloved family; she was even known as a substitute mother to her children’s friends.

She is survived by her son, Manuel Lupercio and wife Juana; daughter, Angelica Breaux and boyfriend, Tracy; daughter, Maria Bond and husband, Geoffrey; son, Eric Leith; daughter, Susana Leith and boyfriend, Mickey; daughter, Lucia Ellis and boyfriend, Richard; son, Sebastian Leith and girlfriend, Marina; son, Chris Leith and girlfriend, DD; daughter, Moncia Leith; daughter, Lilly Sedlock and husband, Mitch; brother, Migueal Angel and wife, Bertha; thirty grandchildren; and many, many great and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of over thirty years, William H. Leith; her parents, Pasqual and Magdalena Lupercio; daughter, Consuelo Lupercio; and seven siblings.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral home at 2PM on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Monsignor Danny Torres will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home at 5PM to 9PM on Friday, November 24 and will resume Saturday morning at 10AM until the start of the service. A rosary will be held at 6PM on Friday night.
