Marjorie Hollis Baggett

Marjorie Hollis Baggett, 83, of Crowley, LA died at 9:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2011 in a local care facility.

Mrs. Baggett was born February 8, 1928 in Pumpkin Center, LA and lived in Lake Charles for sixty-one years before moving to Crowley. She was a 1945 graduate of LaGrange Senior High School and worked her way up at Premier Bank for twenty years. She was a member of Moss Bluff Bible Church and a member of the American Business Women, where she was previously named the Woman of the Year.

Mrs. Baggett is survived by her daughter, Judy Patricia Baggett of Crowley, LA; brother, Marvin Hollis of Westlake, LA; and grandson, Robert LaVergne of Crowley.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ed Rose will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
