Mark Allen

Mark Edward Allen, a loving husband, dedicated father, and skilled aviation mechanic, passed away on August 10, 2026, in Sulphur, Louisiana. Born in Germany on September 28, 1964, Mark's journey in life took him from high school to serving in the Army and then into a meaningful career in the aviation industry that spanned over 30 years.For 22 wonderful years, Mark shared his life with his beloved wife, Jodi Allen. Mark was survived his children, Laura Allen and Jake Allen; his step children, Ryan Blanchette and Shelby Guilbeaux and husband, Kevin. Mark was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren; Kory, Kalum, Christopher, Nicole, Aaron, Mason, Hudson, Quinn, and Isla: and a great-grandfather to little Lucas, who added an extra spark to his life; his sister, Lisa Langdon and husband, Wayne of Texas; his mother in law Carolyn Mooberry from Florida; sister-in-law Janet Papp (Kurt) from Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews who will treasure his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Vicki Allen, and other beloved family members, including his father-in-law Gerald Mooberry and brother-in-law James Mooberry.Mark's family would like to extend a special thank you to the amazing team at Harbor Hospice House and Dr. Mohammad Khan for their compassionate care.
