Mark Tallman

Mark T. Tallman, 75 of Lake Charles, LA passed away at home on October 4, 2025 surrounded by loving family.

He was born in Lake Charles in 1949 to John T. Tallman and Hazel (White) Tallman. Mark graduated from LaGrange High School before joining the Navy and then retiring from Conoco Phillips.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents John T. and Hazel White Tallman, and is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Justus Tallman, his children Jennifer (Willie) Montgomery and Jason (Vonda) Tallman, his grandchildren Kirkland and Kaleb Tallman, his brothers Joseph Tallman and Johnny (Rona) Tallman. He also leaves behind many other family and friends who loved him dearly.

Mark's funeral will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 in the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles Chapel, with Rev. Joshua Page presiding. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the start of the service, with a rosary being recited at 10:30 AM.
