In 1974, he married the love of his life, Sharron. Together, they built a wonderful family, raising two daughters, Heather Crader (Chris), Elizabeth Williams (Tarvis), and two sons, Samuel Witherwax (Fallon), John Robert Witherwax (Katy). He is also survived by his cherished 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and brother, Jackie Guillory.

Mark was deeply involved in his community, serving as a Eucharistic minister at St. Margaret's Catholic Church. His adventurous spirit shone through in his love for riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and being a drag race enthusiast. He even served as the former president of the Gypsy MC Lake Charles Chapter.
