Marsha Demary

Marsha Trahan DeMary, 57, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away at 2:32 AM on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in a local hospital.

Mrs. DeMary was born January 24, 1964 in Lake Charles, LA, where she was a lifelong resident and a 1983 graduate of Lake Charles High School.  She was raised Catholic and Baptist and held on to her belief in God.  She had a great love for her family and her beloved pets.

Mrs. DeMary is survived by her husband of twenty-one years, Mark DeMary; daughter, Jayme Young and husband Brandon; son, Johnathan “John” Landry and wife Macie; grandchildren, Gavin Nelson, Kaylee Nelson, Johnathan Joseph Landry, and Brooklyn Renee Brooks; half-brother, Garrett Whitt; and half-sister, Rachel Trahan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oddley Trahan and Hazel Verrett; brother, Joseph Trahan; and sister, Freda Cordero.

Her cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
