Iowa- Marvin Stewart Bebee, 87, a loving father, grandpa and husband, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014.
Born on May 20, 1927 to the late Claude and Gretchen McCarthy Bebee, graduated from Lacassine High School. He was a soldier in the U. S. Army. He served as a sheriff’s deputy for Jeff Davis for 26 years, farmed soy beans for many years, was a ranch hand for Paret Ranch for 18 years and also a foreman for King Corp.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. with E.J. McCann officiating. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery in Hecker under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Monday, November 24, 2014 in Johnson and Brown Funeral Home from 4 p.m. til 9 p.m. and resume on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley R. Bebee of Iowa, LA; son, Dale Bebee (Cheryl) of Iowa, LA; daughter, Montez Fontenot (Don) of Kinder, LA; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents; baby daughter, Melissa Ruth Bebee; brothers, Harvey Bebee, Carl Bebee, Warren Bebee; sister, Dorthy Smith; great grandchild, Nicholas Jordan Aucoin.
