Mary Arbo

Mary Loraine Drain Arbo, 63, of Panama City, FL, died at 2:18 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, in Panama City, FL. Mrs. Arbo was born September 3, 1952 in Leesville, LA, and she attended Vernon High School. She lived in Germany for several years and then followed her husband's military career around the world. She retired from Army Air Force and Exchange Service in Panama City, FL, after forty years of employment. She attended Tyndall Air Force Base Church and enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling, and shopping. Mrs. Arbo was also an avid bowler and was a member of the Panama City Women's Bowling League that met on Tuesday nights and participated in the national tournaments every year. Mrs. Arbo is survived by her husband, Brently Arbo of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Michael, Jordan, and Madison; great-grandchild, Audrey Mikaela; sisters, Shelia Carr, Floydia Gail Mitchell and Stephanie Pickney; brother, Donald Drain and wife Peggy; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Nicholas Arbo; parents, Mary and Joe Drain, Sr.; and brothers, Joe Lee Drain, Jr., Willie Drain, and James Keith Drain. Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2015, at the Greater Bethel AME Church in Leesville, LA, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Louis Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery in Leesville, LA. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
