Mary Bellard

Mary Alphosine Richard Bellard, 57, of Gillis, LA died at 3:56 PM Saturday, June 4, 2011 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Bellard was born May 21, 1954 in Lafayette, LA and lived most of her life in the Moss Bluff / Gillis areas. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bellard is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Michael Bellard of Gillis; daughters, Lydia Cresswell and husband James, Karen M. Beauxis and husband Jamie, and Mindy Bellard, all of Moss Bluff; two brothers, Clemile "Peanut" Richard and wife Brenda and David Paul Richard and wife Gwen, all of Lake Charles; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Charles Winstead will officiate. Burial will follow in Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and continue Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
