Mary Ann Folse, born in Lafayette, Louisiana on June 20, 1946, daughter of the late Dorsey and Pamela (Robin) Lanclos, passed away in her residence on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the age of 76.
Mary Ann was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She enjoyed being with family, especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mary Ann loved country music and collecting t-shirts from the concerts she attended. She worked at Miss Kitty’s Long Branch Saloon, and later at Resthaven Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents; children, Barbara Ann Vezinat, and Carl Wayne Folse; siblings, John Lanclos and Harold Robin.
Mary Ann is survived by her children, Jessica Brown (Walter), Pam Plaunty (Adam), and Donald Folse (Beate); sister, Betty Kerry; grandchildren, Sean, Caleb, Blake, Dawn, Brittney, Casie, Manny, Lil Adam, T. J., Justin, Travis, Krystle, C. J., Dustin, Drake, Monica, and Ryan; 33 great-grandchildren.
A Gathering of friends and family begins at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Funeral services will begin at 5 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Ryan Daigle officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Interment will be at a later date.
