Mary Gray

Mary Gray was one of three children born to Allen and Sue Richard. She was born in Lake Charles, LA on February 27, 1936.

She graduated with a teaching degree from McNeese State University. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Over the years she enjoyed many hobbies; gardening, sewing, painting, crafting, and making baskets. She also enjoyed camping and visiting with her grandchildren.

She was welcomed into Heaven on September 26, 2022 by her husband Gary Gray; parents, Allen and Sue Richard; a brother Allen “Robin” Richard.

Those left to cherish her memory; two daughters, Pam (Lee) Carlson of Cumming, GA and Susan Gary of Portland, OR; one son, Scott Gary of Moss Bluff, LA. Five grandchildren, Austin (Maryam) Carlson, Joshua Carlson, Luke(Shelby) Mros, Gabriel Mros, and Mallory (Cody) Duffee; a great granddaughter, Sidney Duffee.

A small graveside service led by Father Levi Thompson was held October 22, 2022 at Prien Memorial Park.
