Iowa- Mary “Frany” Humble, 63, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 in her residence.
She was born in Quantico, VA on December 23, 1951. Frany graduated from Berwick High School and attended college in Houston. She was the owner of Frany’s Furniture in Lake Charles for many years and enjoyed gardening, decorating, and spending time with her animals.
Franny is survived by her husband, Eldridge Humble of Iowa; daughter, Kimberly Dove of Iowa; brothers, Bill Kerry and wife, Betty of Lake Charles and Jim McGurk and wife, Elizabeth of Baldwin, LA; aunt, Jean Broisette and husband, Marion of Carlyss, LA and grandson, Noah Hoffpauir. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mable Cheramie; daughter, Brandy Sonnier and brother, Buddy Kerry.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kaplan Cemetery in Kaplan, LA under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Sunday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the funeral home and resume Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
