Mary Lee Mitchell

Mary Mitchell, 80, of Sulphur, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, surrounded by her family.  Mary loved crocheting blankets for all the kids and loved bird watching and reading books. 

Mary is survived by her sons, Jack and Lydia Berry of Roanoke, LA, Bevyon Mitchell of Alexandra, LA and John and Tammy Mitchell of Kountze, TX; brother and sister in law, James and Jennifer Duhon of Sulphur, LA; grandchildren, Michael Mitchell of Dayton, TX, Laken Mitchell of Austin, TX and Jack Berry of Henderson, TX; and great grandchildren, Kensleigh Lunsford and Maverick Reed of Austin, TX.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Bevyon and Inez “Bill” Duhon; and two sons, Gary Don Mitchell and Joseph Mitchell.

Services for Mary will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 11 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.  The family will receive friends on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 5-8 PM and resume on Saturday from 8 AM until the time of service.
