Mary Lou Hebert Lebleu

Mary Lou Hebert LeBleu, 91, of Ragley died at 4:49 PM on Sunday, August 7, 2016 in Rockwall, TX.

 

Mrs. LeBleu was born on June 7, 1925 in Lake Charles, LA and lived in Ragley for 30 years until moving to Texas to be near her daughters.

 

She will be remembered for her great cooking, her love for fishing, and her joy for playing bingo. Her favorite food of choice was hamburgers and french fries. Mrs. LeBleu also enjoyed gardening and canned food out of her home grown garden. She was an avid doll collector, having them displayed for all to see. She had a passion for dancing and would go out with her husband every Friday night to dance. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished each moment spent with them.

 

Mrs. LeBleu was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and also belonged to the Cajun French Music Association.

 

Those left to cherish her memory are six children, Dan LeBleu (Mary) of Sulphur, LA, Roy LeBleu (Kim) of San Francisco, CA, Carol Lonidier of Rockwall, TX, Tim LeBleu (Kathy) of Sweetlake, LA, Larry LeBleu of Brooklyn, MS, and Mary Blevins (Tracey) of Rowlett, TX; eighteen grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Corine and Frank Hebert; her husband, Joseph B. LeBleu; and three brothers, Nolan, Wallace, and Noble Hebert.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 13, 2016 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Patrick LaPoint will officiate. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery in Chloe, LA. Visitation will begin on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service with a rosary being held at 11:00 AM.

 

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Danny, Craig, and Travis LeBleu, David and Zac Guidry, and Jesse Guillory.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to an orphanage of your choice.
